Inspired by my blogpost earlier this week about the cherry-blossom on Futamurayama, a Ph.D. student of our University, Yifan Xu, went there yesterday and took pictures. In a single visit she made an impressive collage of photographs [Google album link for the full (and much better looking) size; below for a small version]. As you can see in her photographs, the flower petals start falling already. So, if you want to enjoy the sakura view, you need to be fast.

Below I only show two pictures of her collection in a larger format (for the rest check out the above link): The sunset with FHU, because I like this picture a lot, and the “cut” Jizo statue (切られ地蔵尊) because in my previous post I had not included its former lower part from which lightning had cut it apart.

By the way, if any of you has nice pictures or stories about FHU and its surroundings that you like to share, you are welcome to approach me.
